Review of Spotlight (2015) by Nilesh J — 07 May 2016
Brilliantly executed. When one thinks about it calmly, the story is a regular tale of investigative journalism. While the topic was big, the research team had most facts readily available, without any violent opposition, even sans internal opposition/treachery or any other type of drama.
Yet, the movie clicks for the way it tells the story rather than the big story or even its revelation.
