Review of Spotlight (2015) by Daniel T — 01 Jul 2016

The story is interesting, but it is nothing new. Not to say that the story is not worth telling, or that it is not important. It is just that it seems the film came out a little late, which is ironic because the film is about a story that came out a little late.

I feel the impact that the film could have had is missed by it being released now. It is a good film, but it is a safe film at the point. Nothing controversial or provocative.
