Review of Spotlight (2015) by Oliver N — 01 Aug 2016
Not without faults - while there are few - Spotlight captures the problem in Boston, and worldwide and without hesitation, due mostly to confident direction and a stellar cast. While personally 'Best Picture' seems a little too big for its boots, Spotlight should however be commended for the heft of its narrative and coping well with a delicate subject matter.
Verdict: A-.
