Review of Spotlight (2015) by Jamesl — 25 Nov 2015
This is definitely one of the better movies of the year but I found it strangely cold and distant. It came across emotionless to me and I do not know why. Maybe it is because of my utter disgust for the Catholic Church and how they have handled the child abuse issue.
Still, the story is fascinating and informative. I think it is an important film about organized religion and the real priorities that they have. Mark Ruffalo and Michael Keaton were terrific.
