What's scary about this movie? Almost everything. For starters after I watched I was 1) thankful I did not grow up Catholic 2) thankful I did not grow up in Boston Toppling establishments is one of Hollywood's favorite themes.
Usually it's police corruption or corporate greed that is targeted but the church scandal was made to order .Althoughyou definitely feel that the movie maker is exploiting a lurid theme, it's not as over the top as say, "the Exorcist".
