Review of Split (2017) by Chris J — 15 Mar 2017
This film made me leave the theater with awe. After the last few Shyamalan films, I thought this movie would be horrible, but I still went because it is an interesting story. I am glad that I went to see it.
James McAvoy makes the movie's villain memorable and perfectly portrays him. It makes you think about different themes in life and gives you that uneasy feeling inside. The true horror of awful problems that happen in real life are left in our minds and its not just a few fake jump scares.
This coupled with a great ending and an unexpected tie in let you leave the theater fulfilled.
