McAvoys amazing acting aside, this movie flounders in a number of aspects. Shyamalan's usual twist ending is unfortunately no more than fodder for a future sequel tie in. The usual grounded in reality horror that is portrayed in previous films is missing here, or perhaps I was just expecting too much.
