Split is a return to form for director M. Night Shyamalan who shows that he is not done as a filmmaker in this psychological thriller. James Mcevoy is sensational in a role that must be very challenging for an actor.
The classic Shyamalan twist isn't as dramatic as his previous films but serves the movie better. The movie starts to lose credibility in the third act and becomes cliched in a way but overall it is great to see M.
Night Shyamalan making good films again. 7.4/10.
