"Splice" is horror of an almost Raimi-esque level. Like the recent "Drag Me to Hell," "Splice" is damn funny and horribly disgusting at the same time. It's a gross-out freak show with an agenda.
It does a great job of criticizing genetic experimentation, parenting methods, and all the more disturbingly, human sexuality.
