Natalie Wood gives one of her best performances and Warren Beatty is a beautiful match in this daring coming of age-film directed with sensitivity by the grand master Elia Kazan. It won a screenplay Oscar and the colourful production incl.
several fine supporting performances coming from Audrey Christie (as Natalies Mum) and a young Sandy Dennis.
