This movie is one of my favorites. Yes it's melodramatic and a bit overdone in spots, but it certainly is entertaining and heartbreaking. Natalie Wood gave a fantastic perfermance. Watching 2 young people struggle against the "forbidden" acts of love seems so strange now in today's world where it seems nothing is off limits.
