Review of Splendor in the Grass (1961) by Eduardo C — 02 Mar 2014
Natalie Wood and Warren Beauty are a high school teenage couple who seem made for each other, but are torn apart with disastrous consequences due to living in conservative 1920's Kansas. It doesn't help that Warren's father bullies him, and that Natalie's parents fail to understand her.
Warren's first film and possibly Natalie's greatest performance.
