Review of Splendor in the Grass (1961) by Adrian B — 28 Nov 2010
Great film! The acting is very well done by Natalie Wood. There is one major problem and that is the wardrobe considering the time it is taken place. It seems to modern for the late 1920's early 1930's.
The clothes, and even settings are just not adjacent to the time period. Overall though, a good film. I like the forshadowing at the beginning for the date it is set, an indication of problems to come.
