Review of Splash (1984) by James R — 06 Jan 2009
A man meets a mermaid who he had met as a boy when he fell overboard a ship, but he had no idea who she was or that she was a mermaid. They fall in love but then have to run from scientists who capture and want to run tests on her.
This movie really had funny moments and had a good and fast moving plot. John Candy and Tom hanks are a good combination. I was pleasantly surprised by this one, one of the best comedies I have scene in a while.
