Review of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) by Tiffany W — 06 Apr 2009
Tries too hard to compensate for lack of dialogue, character development, and plot with mediocre music and long, drawn-out "horses running" scenes. Sorry, but I just can't get emotionally attached to a character who does nothing but flail around and make random noises.
Bored me to tears, and every time a new whiny Bryan Adams song kicked in, I just wanted to throw my hands up and laugh at the creative FAIL behind this film. And oh -- lets not forget to mention the countless scenes and lines that were blatant ripoffs of Disney's Tarzan.
