Review of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) by James S — 27 Jun 2010
This movie was a bit of a suprise. Not a ture musical, it told the story with no speech from the animals (horses). Bryan Adams sings the music trying to recapture his previous western magic. All of the characters.
..including the horses...were believable. It is too bad that the producers did not trust their product and they included Matt Damond narration to help tell the story from the Mustang's point of view.
Take a lesson from Walee: the movie did not need it. It would have been fine without. Aside from that...excellent.
