Review of Spirit of the Marathon (2008) by Matt C — 06 May 2010
Clearly if you're not into running then this film is going to be of as much interest to you as a commercial for shampoo. However if you're like me and a little obsessed then it's basically brilliant.
It follows 5/6 people from elite professionals right down to an old guy plodder preparing for the 2005 Chicago stuff. It's brilliantly pitched and the finale to the women's race is gripping. I loved it.
