Review of Spinning Plates (2013) by L N — 24 Oct 2013
Saw it while it was still at festivals. It's in theatres now. The three stories are engrossing, entertaining, emotional, and the film is beautifully shot. It also has a gorgeous score that, if you're really paying attention to, begins to merge three separate musical themes into one just as the three stories begin to unveil their own common themes of passion, family, and persistence through adversity.
I would say a must see for foodies, professional and amateur chefs, and family business owners, but really anybody with a dream they believe in. It also makes you REALLY want fried chicken. Like. Bad.
