Review of Spiker (2007) by Chandra R — 21 Mar 2009
Ridiculously bad acting takes much away from this movie, which has a somewhat unique idea at its heart. Plot holes, timeline issues, and overuse of bad special effects leave the film feeling very unprofessional.
The main characters behave totally irrationally--to the point where they practically offer the killer another chance to attack them at a point when they have complete control over the situation and could have easily ended his campaign.
Lastly, the killer's motivation is week and the story of his past is cliche an uninteresting.
