Review of Spies Like Us (1985) by Scott A — 10 Mar 2013
Whist this isn't the best showcase of what filmmaker John Landis has to offer audiences, 'Spies Like Us' is a reasonably entertaining piece, elevated by stars Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd.
The pair are as good as you'd expect, but the material doesn't give them much to work with. There's a few sketches that hit the mark (the exam, for one), but the film is a little too casually paced to be truly effective.
A good effort that should've been great.
