Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Hussein H — 28 Dec 2018
There's too much to praise this movie for so let's start with the most obvious thing, the animation/art. Holy shit is the animation and art so unique and fresh. This movie is a comic book come to life with frame rates being changed for different interactions with characters in order to purposefully look choppy to emulate the viewing of a comic book.
The character of Spiderman is also given a tonne of thought and love in the plot of this movie and it nails the message of "anyone can be Spiderman" because Spiderman is more of an idea than he is Peter Parker.
Miles and most pf the rest of the cast are fleshed out and more importantly good characters. This movie is a love-letter to Stan Lee and Steve Ditko's beloved character. This movie deserves all the acclaim it gets.
