Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Jesse — 28 Dec 2018

This movie works so well. It's undoubtedly the best Spider-man movie yet. It sets a new precedent for animation, and it's now my favorite animated super hero movie. The writing, especially the dialogue, really clicks.

The score is also very fitting. The only aspect that seems off is the pacing. The events of the first and second acts leave the ending a little anticlimactic, after all the prep that happened. Still, this is but a nitpick, and it definitely doesn't take away from the overall affect of the movie.

I would absolutely recommend this.
