I don't usually take the time to review movies, but when you go to the theater and come out feeling invigorated, I feel those movies at least deserve a pat on the back! This is one of those movies.

Surprises abound, loveable characters and a slight nod to the fact that the movie knows it's just a comic are all refreshing. No boring Spiderman details in this movie, they get right into the action and allow you to fill in the pieces later yourself.

Definitely the best animated film of this year!
