Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Kumbls — 14 Dec 2018

Well, I didn't enjoy this movie is much as everyone else did, but I have a reason. I mean, of course this visual style is absolutely the best I've ever seen and soundtrack is amazing, but story just sucks.

I know, it's a marvel movie so I shouldn't expect something amazing from it's writing but it has so much potential so I actually feel bad for it. The main story is so typical that you can guess the ending after literally 10 minutes,and these characters.

.. they're just... y'know... boring. You just don't care about them because they are being introduced so badly, writer just says you: "hey, this guy is a dick and your main character is a good guy so must feel him.

That's not how good story works. But if you wanna just hang out in cinema with your friends or watch it with your family, it's great.
