Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Tom G — 03 Oct 2017
Glib is easy. making a good movie must be very difficult. Spiderman is completely undercut with the repeated scenes with Robert Downey Junior. The only part of the movie that I found effective was the true evil that was evinced by Michael Keaton.
That part of the movie seemed to be real and it a part of the movie that I could are about. The rest seemed liked a focus grouped exercise in marketing. It literally put me to sleep.
