Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Masterriley — 06 Jul 2017
Spider-Man: Homecoming is the web-swinging/wall crawling movie adaptation we have been waiting for. It did everything right; great performances, interesting and relatable characters, good comedy, and fun action sequences.
But most of all, Tom Holland nailed the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. He is still young enough to be believable as a high school student, and he has a lot of heart and wit that makes him perfect for the role.
The movie did not repeat the same beats the previous films have; instead it gave us a new story about Spider-Man that everyone can enjoy for the first time. If you were banking on this movie being good, I cannot see how it will disappoint you.
