Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Abomlol — 19 Jul 2017
A pubescent Spider-Man (that looks 22) coddled by a Tony Stark that seems to be getting tired of the same old schtick. Effects are impressive, and there are loads of eye candy. The film did its absolute best to come off as something more than one of the numerous re-tellings over the past 10 years.
It's a sugar coated pop culture sha-bang with so many contemporary elements that it'll look silly 20 years from now. Oh, and Flash Gordon looks like a goober, and doesn't sell the persona.
