Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Howard H — 21 Jul 2017
While nothing could beat Spider Man 2, this one is a welcome change from all the other super hero movies. It has lots of the humor from the comic books, Peter Parker looks like a high school kid, and the plot doesn't follow the usual super-hero movie guidelines. The special effects don't dominate the movie as much as so many others and doesn't have the fades backgrounds that come with them. It's lively and fun.
One note: It would help to see Captain America: Civil War before seeing this as the story actually starts in that movie. I didn't But I adjusted.
