A lot of magical thinking instead of plot development. Alien weapons can be formed into stuff? Criminal doing it for 10 years and no one misuses any of it? It's not discovered by cops? Hey, how did those crooks do that? Screenwriters have to explain their story, not just run from scene to scene.
