Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Ken M — 07 Jul 2017
This film was truefully terrible!! It was an absolute cheesefest and I cringed the whole way through it. Other than one joke, the "instant kill mode", was funny and only the first time. That and the "dad talk" we're the only good parts in the entire film.
The rest of the film was just a load of immature nonsense with nothing at stake. Considering this film was a 12A I expected something decent, but it was totally aimed at a 5 year old and because of that the pornography joke, which I saw coming a mile off, really seem way out of place and inappropriate.
Other negatives notable: Spiderman didn't need Tony Stark to make him a suit to be spiderman! And no spider-sense? Really?!! I'm a huge spiderman fan, but this film was so bad I very nearly walked out.
One star purely because it vaguely had spiderman in it.
