Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Dylan R — 08 Jul 2017
Spider-man:Homecoming? more like Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man. Homecoming does whatever a reboot can. its a true representation of Spiderman its fun and light hearted showing how he tries to balance his normal life and his Stark Internship and how it affects others around him and the stakes aren't high like other MCU movies and past spiderman movies.
it worried me RDJ would steal every scene he showed up in but too my pleasure and contrary to the comedians calling it Iron Man 4, he's barely in the movie only 15 minutes but he does have presence in the mind of spiderman makeing him urge himself to prove himself a true hero and Avengers material.
The AI in the movie is a bit annoying but the more I think about it the more I like its a great mechanism to show what peter is thinking without having an awkward scene where someone talks to themslef.
Homecoming is an amazing coming of age story which is what the character needed to go from spider-boy to spider-man.
