Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Bob M — 04 Jul 2017
This movie is finally a spiderman movie that is good, Amazing spiderman was ok and the sequel was horrible, this movie is actually a good movie, not as good as spiderman 2 but just below spiderman, Tom Holland is an amazing pick as spiderman, unlike Andrew Garfield Peter Parker is a nerd being a social outcast, everything in Peter Parkers high school life is kind of the entire movie, it feels like a high school movie and I like it, the comedy is very hilarious almost as funny as Guardians, Robert Downey jr.
scenes are good but they don't seem like they need to exist, and you don't think Peter Parker could die and the action is good but there is nothing that sticks out about it like Spiderman 1 & 2, Michael Keaton is the second best Marvel villain as the vulture, being a dumpster diver who builds machines around him he seems like a scavenger just like a vulture and his character has some dramatic things and they work, there is some advertisement that is a little over the top, probably coming from Sony because this is a collaboration and sometimes the pacing drags but this movie is really good.
