Review of Spider-Man 3 (2007) by Olivier B — 21 Oct 2013

Entertaining but a mess. The story itself is fine but the could have done without sandman. He just wasn't necessary, and they kinda butchered the movie a bit with the twist they added to his character. Overall the movie would have been great if they hadn't added emo spiderman shaking his butt at gwen Stacy and acting like a total @$$ in front of MJ. I was indifferent about topher grace. I thought they did a great job with the way venom looked and the fights were supercool.. I also like the whole dark theme, j think it worked really well with the black suit plot. But overall this movie has too many unforgivable mistakes to constitute it as "good" .. Just "ok". It's a shame spiderman 2 is one of the best superhero movies of all time, I really wanted this to be better.
