Review of Spider-Man 3 (2007) by Brett H — 12 Jul 2014
Extremely disappointing final entry in Raimi's Spider-Man series that just dropped the ball in every way and left movie-goer's scratching their heads wondering, "WHAT HAPPENED?". Sony got their hands all over the production and began their reign of interference by clumsily throwing in fan-favourite, Venom, and juggling three villains just didn't work.
The infamous emo-Peter and dance number are just cringe-worthy and you can't believe any of it made it into the final cut. There are some redeeming qualities with the action scenes, the special effects, and I thought they portrayed the Sandman well! Beating a dead horse here, but I can't believe how bad this turned out, going from the best Spider-Man film of the franchise straight to the worst.
