If you enjoy dark humour with a twisted sense of humor, SPENT is for you. It is a quirky story about a mother and son who find themselves facing a family tragedy not with dismay but with delight.
The characters are all pretty full on, and it won't be to everyone's taste, but if you are open to something a little different SPENT is certainly worth a watch.
Behind the humour there are deeper messages and some interesting life lessons so it's easy to see why the film did so well on the festival circuit.
You may never look at squirrels in the same way!
