Review of Spellbound (2002) by Jonathan G — 01 Feb 2009
An entertaining docu-drama, exporing America's fascination and fixation with spelling. Look out for the clearly visible despair on one of the father's faces when his son struggles to recognise and spell the word 'Darjeeling' - a tricky word it may be, but it is made all the more humourous by the fact that the boy is the son of two extremely proud Indian immigrants.
Genius.
