Yes, it is a bit flowery at times, and can be a tad overwhelming, but those who are fans of the old cartoon series, just might get a kick out of this movie. Visual effects are stunning, and when the racing really gets going, it's something I couldn't get my eyes off of.
It does skid its tires towards the finish line, but it's very amusing.
