Review of Speed Racer (2008) by Zachary R — 31 Jan 2012
This movie is based off of one of my favorite childhood anime's and I must say even though the elements are here from the show. The sixties looking views as well as the twisty worlds. Along with the characterization which did seem flat in some people as well as the greedy corporation storyline that was in almost every Speed Racer episode.
This movie just suffers from a severe acid trip that can cause headaches as well as the Wachowski Brothers taking huge liberties with the overall world of Speed Racer. I give this movie a generous 6 out of 10.
