Despite its weak and repetitive story and the less-than-perfect acting talents of its lead hero, this is a pretty fun movie. high intensity and edge-of-your-seat action pretty much start to finish. that and Sandra Bullock make this enjoyable.
the writing's not spectacular and overall it's just a cut-and-dry stereotypical action movie--car chases, catch phrases, big explosions, buddy cops, a psychopath villain....original it certainly is not.
but it is entertaining.
