Review of Special (2006) by Steve K — 06 May 2009
I have been waiting for over 3 years for this movie to finally come out after its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in 2006. I had all but forgotten about it until a friend turned me on to its recent release on dvd. What a cool little movie. I'm not a huge Michael Rapaport fan, but he is amazing in this film as a confused individual who believes he develops super powers after taking an experimental new drug. I'm glad the wait is finally over, because this was great.
