Review of Spartan (2004) by Liana R — 24 Jul 2007
The plot unfolds evenly, the protagonist develops (which is special in and of itself, in a movie) without unbelievable plot-driven jolts, and the dialog is powerful (even if it does smack of Mamet's minimalist style, where more is inferred than stated.
) Make sure you are ready to take part in the story when you watch this; it won't drag you along like Mission Impossible 3.
