David Mamet is an institution in Hollywood and "Spartan" proves why: a clever plot and great twists and turns makes this one of the more original political thrillers to come from the U.S. Val Kilmer kicks ass in this one but what the hell is up with William H.
Macy's two minute "cameo"?! Ghee! Still more than watchable though.
