Review of Spartan (2004) by Peter K — 18 Sep 2010
The investigation into a kidnapping of the daughter of a high-ranking US government official. As Mamet's film gradually grows he is able to flourish awesome characters, an intriguing plot that I seemed to actually care about, great camera movement, and oh can't forget the Mamet twists and turns of wicked suspense.
A real serious movie for real serious film audiences.
