Review of Spartacus (1960) by Jagt P — 06 Jul 2014
Though Kubrick is credited as director, the denial of full creative control is visible, so the film doesn't have that much of the Kubrick touch like any of his other films. Still, it has a grand scale and scope, music score and characters that make Spartacus a powerful entertaining film.
