Review of Spartacus (1960) by Plain C — 06 Jan 2015
Sick film with an intermission in the middle for when ya bladder is busting. I love old films but they do drag them out for ages. I wanted to watch this after watching the TV show (which was amazing) I saw it ages ago but was too young and couldn't remember what happened apart from the sad ending.
I liked how the TV show focused on the gladiators and slaves in this film I would be able to tell who is who when it came to the slave/gladiators there wasn't that character development. There wasn't even that much dialog to be honest.
I enjoyed it but I think it's because I'm a big Spartacus fan. Love the idea of slave starting an revolution. Should happen soon in 2015.
