Review of Sparkle (2012) by Adia R — 16 Aug 2012
This is Sparkle in a way that seamlessly blended the past with the present. Sad and ironic that Whitney Houston's farewell to the world would be in this poignant tale about the potential ravages of success.
Jordan Sparks blazed on the screen. Whitney's solo brought tears to my eyes because it glimmered with the rays of talent and gifted ness that would have ushered in a musical and theatrical comeback had she lived.
Go and see Sparkle. Bring your Raybans, the brightness of the message and music may cause you to blink. Don't do it...you deserve to see it all.
