Review of Sparkle (2012) by Burt C — 18 Aug 2012
Premise was OK but Sparkle never came out of the shadow of her sisters. The early MoTown club scene was woth it. The acting, script and directing of the Whitney Houston part as the mother was god-awful and unbelievable.
Sparkle's red dress for the closing number salvaged an average song.
