One of the STEM movies I didn't find overly simplified and loved that it illustrated a bit more about the empowerment STEM gives. Like an October Sky with more overt social justice issues. Based on the true story of a high school team of undocumented students going against engineers at schools like MIT, it shows how sometimes the wealth that we have in the U.
S. may be a detriment to really creative engineering.
