Review of Spare Parts (2015) by Jonny C — 08 Jan 2016
This is a very feel-good film with a truly inspiring story. This is one of those stories that teaches you to never give up and believe in yourself. It's already worth a watch if you're a fan of George Lopez(Robotics teacher), Jamie Lee Curtis(Principal), or Marisa Tomei(Gwen), but the story itself is very powerful.
The story revolves around four Hispanic high school boys who come together with their brilliant minds, and become a robotics club. They use their brains to build one and enter it into a contest. With no experience, 800 bucks to spend, used car parts, and going up against brilliant college students, the odds may seem against them.
This film is magnificent. It may seem a bit slow and have a few dull moments, but it's worth seeing. My grade=85%(B).
