Review of Spanglish (2004) by Sandra M — 17 Feb 2010
It was great seeing Adam Sandler doing work outside of Happy Madison, it showed everyone that he can take on serious roles and pull them off. The script was very good, I loved those voice-overs. I didn't like how it was told from the point of view of the girl writing an essay.
The plot turned out to be very intricate and it certainly pulled me in. High drama without any exagerrations, great film overall.
